I Swear I Will Never.......
Give my children sugar! Just one of the things I swore I would never ever do when I became a parent. But for all you Mommies you know how things change. All those "I swear I will never......" go right out the window sometimes.Especially when you are at Grandma and Grandpas house and you see those irresistible smiles when they try that oh so sweet and yummy thing for the first time. Oh how you start to see things in perspective when you have kids, like you never have before. Because really a sugar treat on special occasions is not going to kill them and the cute memories of them so happily enjoying it are so much more important :) And just so you know I didn't let them eat the whole thing........I didn't go that crazy!

Trouble with a capital T
Oh boy does my little Kate keep me on my toes on a daily basis. Don't be fooled by that sweet adorable face, she is a little spit fires that enjoys getting into everything these days! And before you think to yourself she is only one and doesn't know what she is doing, she knows trust me my little girl knows its written all over that little smirk she gives right after the fact. Picture one I caught her right in the act of getting into all the hanger and taking them all out from the laundry basket. In which she figured out how to open closet doors long ago. And picture two she is stocking poor Maggie around Charlottes room and here she has her cornered under the crib, oh poor Maggie girl.............it is funny to watch though.

First Piggy Tails!
Katelyn had her first piggy tails today and boy does she look so stinking cute! And believe it or not her holding the pink pig while I was taking the pictures of her first piggy tails was a complete accident that I noticed after the fact but jeeze that worked out to be just perfect for the pictures. Katelyn is surprisingly super patient when I do her hair and when I am done with it her favorite part is when I take her to the mirror to show her just how cute she is. She laughs, smiles and points at herself, she is in love with herself and Katelyn has no self esteem issues she is a happy, strong and sassy little girl and I love her oh so much.

What Is A Mommy To Do......
What is a mommy to do on a night when hubbie is working and the twins are long in bed???? Do something productive like dishes, laundry or even maybe start to pack? NOPE! I play dress up with my Charlotte girl. I mean it has to be one of the most fun parts about having a daughter right, and I am so lucky because I have two little sweethearts to dress up and spoil in all things pink :) So here she is my little star and model of the night Ms. Charlotte Jane.

Be My Valentine.
Oh goodness I have competition now, there are two other beautiful ladies living in this house and they are both particularly good at stealing Kurts heart. Kurt was quit the lucky man and had three Valentines this year, myself, Katelyn and the newest addition Charlotte. I myself had two handsome men, Kurt and my little Joshy guy. I know most people these days seem to dislike Valentines Day thinking it is a corny holiday and is just a excuse for stores to guilt us into buying things we don't need. But let me tell you I love Valentines Day, I think it is a completely adorable holiday and being a mommy makes it so much better and cuter might I add. And not to mention I cherish every Valentines Day I have with Kurt, since I never know if he will be home to celebrate it with me the following year. I never go crazy buying Kurt expensive gifts but I like to get him all the little things he loves but does not get all that often. This year I decided on a chocolate basket. Kurt loves loves loves chocolate (which is kind of funny because I the wife am not such a fan, go figure) so I headed off to my second favorite store behind Target, Trader Joes where I picked up a ton of his favorite and some new chocolaty treats. And since the kids were all in totally great moods and were all asleep, well the twins at least by 6:30 on Saturday night and it is the one day this week Kurt does not have to wake up at 3am, we decided to have our special dinner in where thanks again to Trader Joes I made Kurts favorite dinner. And to top it off for my wonderful hubbie I had a special yummy breakfast and his coffee waiting for him bright and early this morning. I even went crazy this year and had fun getting the twins and even Charlotte little gifts. My favorite was Katelyns though, she loves getting her hair blow dried after her bath so I bought her her very own pink and purple polka dot blow dryer and round hair brush for Valentines Day. Charlotte got hair bows and headbands from me and Joshy got some picture books he really likes. It was a fun little holiday today and the best part was Daddy got off super early and we got to spend the whole day with him :) Happy Valentines Day to all and especially to my sweet Charlotte it is her first after all.
