Easter 2012
Oh how I love Easter! The Easter baskets with all the little trinkets that you loved as a kid, egg hunts, Peeps, jelly beans, dying eggs and most of all little girls in big puffy Easter dresses and little boys in sweater vest and khakis. And this year was no exception. We didn't celebrate Easter on exactly Easter Sunday because we more importantly wanted Kurt to be home to celebrate with us which was so special as always. It is amazing how much one year makes a difference. Last year Charlotte was just a little baby only four months old. This year she was right in there with Josh and Kate searching for eggs. Kurt and I thought it was hilarious that it was actually Charlotte who found all the "hard" eggs at our morning egg hunt at home. And when I say hard I mean just not lying in the middle of the living room but maybe on a end table or in a pot. The kids also ate more jelly beans then I have ever seen anyone eat, in fact Josh's face was dyed all the colors of the rainbow that day. It was a fun filled day with family and the weather was perfect just screaming that Spring is here! Just like Easter should be.
