We took the kids to SeaWorld over the long weekend for our annual trip that I look forward to every year around this time. Thanks to SeaWorld's Salute to Hero's which allows active duty military families into SeaWorld once a year for free we have been enjoying this tradition for six years now! We have always found that so many people and companies as well are so generous when it comes to supporting the troops and our family has always been so thankful and appreciative of all the kindness we have received over the years. This was the best trip yet. With the twins being three years old this year it was just so much more fun watching them experience all the animals in different way, they were really much more curious and engaged this year. They especially loved the new sea turtle aquarium and Charlotte had a blast trying to touch the sting rays! As always my favorite is the sea otters and Kurt's most favorite is without a doubt the Penguins. But the very best part of the day came for Katelyn at the end of the day and had nothing to do with animals. She got to meet Elmo for the first time and it had to be the cutest thing I have seen in a long time. At first there were a couple silent tears because the 5 min wait in line to meet Elmo was just too much. When it came her turn to ran full speed ahead and gave him the biggest hug. When time was up to walked away and back for one more hug three time until Kurt was finally about to bribe her back to us. It really was just so stinkin cute. The weather was great and there were absolutely no lines, which was just the icing on the cake to a wonderful day for us at SeaWorld. Looking forward to enjoying another awesome trip next year.
