Daddy Time!

We got some surprise time off with Daddy this last week and a half and oh boy have we been busy! The first few days were spent doing some oh so fun Fall cleaning out of the garage, ok it was not fun at all especially in the 90 degree weather but it felt great to get it done. Then Kurt and I had a couple wonderful days to ourselves which we spent on a beautiful day in Laguna Beach where we had lunch, strolled along the beach and hit all the little shops. That day was finished off by a yummy yummy steak dinner. We spent the next couple days running errands all around town with the babies and this made me realize how nice it is to have another adult in the car to actually talk to, it makes it so more fun with Kurt there.... not to mention another set of hands while getting babies situated in and out the car, into the stroller and feeding them, ect. is such a blessing as well.
Yesterday was also a big day! We spent the morning at the Wild Animal Park and then later that afternoon we hit the Miramar Airshow. The babies did great the whole time and had so much fun. Last time we took them to the zoo they were still so very tiny and slept most of the time but now that they are a little older they are much more aware of everything around them, it is all very exciting, oh the difference just a few months makes. As for today Kurt and I thought ourselves, Josh and Katelyn deserved a much earned day of being just plain old comfy and lazy and that is just what we did,we watched movies, had baby play time and relaxed!!!! We still have Daddy to ourselves for a couple more days so myself and the babies definitely plan on taking advantage of it, we just love having that guy around.
