So it does not end there either last weekend the families from Aliso Viejo HIgh School donated the most beautiful Christmas trees to once again every family in my community, they donated 500 Christmas trees total this year and that was just on our side of base, the other much larger side received plenty as well. They even wrapped them up and loaded them and everything, such sweet people. I know the kids with deployed daddy's over the holidays especially appreciate a big Ole Christmas tree!! Anything to make things just a little more normal and fun for them. Then today we had our beautiful Holiday party at the Yacht Club and then later this week we will have Kurts work party where once again a ton of companies donate presents and cater food for the families. So you see what I mean, I feel so super blessed to have so many support and care about my family and what my husband does. Love Christmas time, this is what it is all about!! So down below are some pretty cute pictures of the twins opening up there first official presents from Santa.

It's Nice To Meet You Santa!
Well today the babies got to meet Santa for the first time and the verdict went like this.....Katelyn loved loved loved him and then Josh could have really cared less. At first I thought to myself come on Josh this is the big guy that gives you all the gifts at least give him a smile! But then I thought to myself this baby is super smart he already knows where the good gifts realllyyy come from, Grandma and Grandpa :) Honestly though is was a really nice party. The Dana Point Yacht Club host a Christmas party for military families that live on our side of base every year. They decorated the place beautifully, live music, a wonderful brunch and Santa personally gave every child several gifts that were all amazing. This time of the year always makes me realize how giving and wonderful people are. Its starts off with Thanksgiving where Saddleback Church gives all the families in our community on base (San Onfre) a whole Thanksgiving dinner. Every family gets a turkey with everything you can imagine to go alone with it, which is especially thoughtful since the majority of the families that are my neighbors are living far from home or their husbands are deployed. So they are not as blessed as Kurt and I to have my family near by to spend the holidays with, well actually we are kind of double blessed since we have Thanksgiving with my family we always cook the turkey a couple weeks later and binge on turkey sandwich's, turkey pot pie and soup for the following week. Which is ironic because as I am typing this and the babies are sound asleep Kurt and cooking the turkey right now and oh how it smells heavenly...mmmmmmm!
