Half Way There And Oh So Happy.

It dawned on me today as I took a look at my pregnancy ticker set on my blog that Kurt and I are already halfway through this pregnancy. I am twenty weeks today, so that means in exactly nineteen weeks Kurt and I will be meeting our newest sweet baby girl. So as I sat on the couch today while this news dawned on me I watched as Katelyn and Joshua played in a little play area I set up for them. They took my breath away, what beautiful babies we have been blessed with. What a wonderful life I have been blessed with. I have the most amazing husband in the world who is not only my best friend but someone that I love so much words just can not describe it. And here after six years ( just a few days shy of our anniversery) we have this amazing family. I am so grateful for Kurt and how hard he works so I can enjoy my life and watch our babies grow, litterally and not miss a single second of it. I would have never guessed that I would have had twins in my wildest dreams, they truly were a unexpected gift from god because now I could not imagine life without them. They bring me joy and happiness everyday.
Here is a example of the unexpected joy they have brought me. I would not say that I am a morning person in a sense that on the weekends Kurt and I are not up at 5am, but at the same time if I need to wake up early it is no problem, if I don't then I am not! But ever since those babies were brought home from the hospital mornings are my favorite time of day. Katelyn never fails to have the biggest smile on her face and she gets so wiggly and giggly when I come into the nursery, peek in her crib and gently rub her back to wake her. She is just too funny, it is immediate love and excitment to see to me. It has to be one of the best feelings in the world. It would take me a good two cups of coffee before I could be anywhere that excited in the morning. Then after my morning hello to her I wake Josh who is just the total and complete opposite which I love. He is very confused and groggy at first, rubs his face on the mattress then slowly looks up at me with the biggest grin on his face, then he repeats rubbing his face about four more times in a attempt to wake up more. I first dress Katelyn and get her set with a bottle to give Josh a little quiet time to pull himself together, I appreciate that he needs this. Then dress him and finally my last favorite part, ohhhhh..... how he can cuddle with me on the walk downstairs for his bottle. These babies changed my life in funny ways that I would have never thought of, I am a morning person now.
So like I said as I sat there watching my beautiful babies thinking about yet another gift god has given us that we will be welcoming in just a matter of months, oh how we love her already!!! I thought to myself what a wonderful life god has given me. Joshua, Katelyn and the new baby were especially put here for Kurt and I to be their Mommy and Daddy and it just does not get any better then that.
